  The History of Walk Thru the Bible How are we to teach a written Word in a visual age? How are we to present sixty-six books to a world that would rather watch sixty-six channels? WTB Video 
For a difficult challenge, God raised up an ingenious answer. And placed it in the hearts of six full-time teachers in 1976. Drawing from a concept developed in his Master's thesis, a young seminary student named Bruce Wilkinson created the "Walk Thru the Bible Seminar," where in just one day, just about anyone can learn the geography, characters, and key concepts of every book of the Old Testament in chronological order.
On August 24, 2007, the Board of Directors of Walk Thru the Bible Ministries appointed Phil Tuttle as President by unanimous decision. Phil is a graduate of Wheaton College and Dallas Theological Seminary. He has been an asset to Walk Thru the Bible since his arrival in 1992. During the last 15 years, he has served in several key roles including Dean of Faculty, Senior Vice President for International Ministries (WorldTeach), and Global Teaching Pastor. Phil is a great complement to the existing senior leadership team, and his background as a pastor, teacher and trainer will shape the worldview through which Walk Thru the Bible will operate into the future. Phil is a true servant leader and a terrific communicator with a unique blend of biblical instruction, real-life illustration and spontaneous humor. His extensive global travels for Walk Thru the Bible give him a unique perspective to understand both the opportunities and needs facing our organization. Phil and his wife Ellen have been married 26 years, and they have two children, Emily and Philip.
